AlpFoodway opened a petition for the nomination of Alpine food heritage for the UNESCO representative list of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
Alpine food heritage is the set of sustainable production and consumption practices, knowledge and skills, productive landscapes and locally produced traditional food in the Alpine regions. It depends on commons, shared goods and services, and on mutual assistance. AlpFoodway wants to safeguard this heritage, also through the inscription on the UNESCO list.
Read the charter, discover how you can engage in Alpine food heritage safeguarding, and support the multinational nomination of the Alpine Food Heritage for the UNESCO representative list of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity by signing the petition.
